PlanAstro (the “App”) is owned and operated by BETASPHERE LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account: email address, username, and optional name, profile photo and social links. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the email Apple shares (which may be a private relay address).
Observing location: the site name and coordinates you save, used to compute the sky and weather.
App content: saved settings, rigs, favorites, imaged objects, archive links, Community Capture posts and support messages.
Usage: basic page and object-view counts used to improve the App.

How we use it

To provide and sync the App across your devices, answer support requests, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third parties

Weather is fetched from OpenWeatherMap and Open-Meteo using your saved coordinates. Sky imagery comes from public astronomy surveys. Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf.

Public content

Community Capture posts are visible to all App users.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time and permanently delete your account in Menu → My Profile → Delete my account. Deletion removes your account and associated data.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13.
